Yes. Each Anny Stern jewelry piece is handcrafted with care, using natural gemstones and thoughtfully selected materials. Every design is created with intention and attention to detail.
Are your pieces one of a kind?
Many of our designs are one of a kind, while others are created in small batches. Due to the natural variation of gemstones and the handmade process, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Do you restock sold-out designs?
Some designs may be recreated in limited quantities, while many one-of-a-kind pieces cannot be restocked. If a piece speaks to you, we recommend not waiting.
What materials do you use?
Our collections feature natural gemstones, sterling silver, gold-plated finishes, vermeil, and, at times, 14k gold. We also explore expressive materials such as resin, wood, shells, and sculptural elements.
Do you work with vermeil?
Yes. Select designs are created using vermeil, which features a thick layer of gold over sterling silver, offering the beauty of gold with a refined finish.
What is the difference between gold-plated and vermeil jewelry?
Gold-plated jewelry features a layer of gold applied over a base metal, while vermeil consists of a thicker layer of gold over sterling silver. Both finishes are beautiful when worn and cared for properly.

Can gold-plated or vermeil jewelry come into contact with water?
To preserve the beauty of gold-plated and vermeil pieces, we recommend avoiding contact with water. Chemicals commonly found in water, as well as products such as perfumes, lotions, and cleaning agents, may affect the finish over time.
How should I care for gold-plated and vermeil jewelry?
We suggest removing jewelry before showering, swimming, or washing hands, and avoiding exposure to perfumes, lotions, and chemicals. When worn and stored with care, gold-plated and vermeil pieces may maintain their beauty for a long time.
Can gemstones be affected by chemicals?
Yes. Natural gemstones may react to chemicals found in perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, and other substances. Over time, exposure may affect color, surface, or finish. For this reason, we recommend avoiding contact with chemicals whenever possible.
Do pearls require special care?
Yes. Pearls are organic gemstones formed by living organisms, making them naturally porous and delicate. Exposure to perfumes, lotions, hairspray, and chemicals may cause pearls to lose their luster or experience color changes, which can be irreversible.
How should pearls be worn and stored?
Pearls benefit from being worn regularly, as natural body oils help maintain their glow. However, they should always be worn after perfumes, makeup, or skincare products have been applied. When not in use, pearls should be stored separately in a soft pouch and not left unused for extended periods of time.
Can I use jewelry cleaners or polishing cloths?
Do not under any circumstances use jewelry cleaners, polishing solutions, or treated jewelry cloths. These products contain chemicals that can damage finishes, alter gemstones, and affect gold-plated or vermeil pieces.
When cleaning is needed, gently wipe the piece using a soft, clean cotton cloth, such as a plain t-shirt, with no products or treatments applied.

Yes. Our crochet handbags are entirely handmade through a slow and thoughtful process.
Are the bags one of a kind?
Many handbags are one of a kind, while others are produced in very limited quantities. Subtle variations are part of their individuality and beauty.
Will you restock a bag I missed?
Some styles may return in new colorways or materials, but exact replicas of handmade pieces are rarely repeated.

How should I care for my crochet handbag?
Our crochet handbags are handmade pieces and should be treated with care. If needed, we recommend gentle spot cleaning only, using a small amount of water and a drop of mild, neutral fabric soap with no dyes.
Do not under any circumstances soak, machine wash, or submerge the bag. This will damage the fibers, structure, and handles. Avoid the use of harsh products or chemical cleaners. Allow the bag to air dry naturally.

For international orders, taxes, customs duties, and import fees are not included and are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are determined by the destination country and are not collected by Anny Stern.
Returns & Exchanges
Do you accept returns?
Due to the handmade and one-of-a-kind nature of our pieces, all sales are final unless an item arrives damaged.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 3 days after delivery so we can assist you promptly.
